A two-day ONLINE workshop with Robin Macdonald & Chris MacLean,

combining music and the teachings of Joanna Macy, to explore and practice compassion

 Registration currently closed (fill out the form below to be on the list for alerts about our next offering)

How can we meet the climate crisis and other social and environmental challenges of our times with clear eyes and an open heart?  How we can welcome the wisdom of the body and emotions in service to life on earth?

Combining music and the Work that Reconnects to explore and practice compassion, this online workshop is for those who want to:

          ~ Learn how to be with suffering without turning away – from yourself, your community, our world;

         ~ Be supported and receive tools for unlocking and moving stuck emotions and changing habitual behaviours (fear, reactivity, paralysis, numbing-out)

         ~ Explore singing as a source of rejuvenation, healing and connection;

         ~ Build your desire and capacity to act in ways that contribute to the healing of our world

         ~ Widen your experience of self to include other beings and the planet

         ~ Use your imagination for the welfare of the whole

“We are capable of suffering with our world, and that is the true meaning of compassion.  It enables us to recognize our profound interconnectedness with all beings . . .
and as your heart breaks open there will be room for the world to heal.  That is what is happening as we see people honestly confronting the sorrows of our time.” Joanna Macy

The Work that Reconnects is a set of group exercises, teachings and practices to help us align with the self-healing powers of the web of life and compost grief, fear and anger into qualities that allow us to respond to the challenges of these times with care and integrity. As we move through both the dangers and possibilities we currently face as human beings, this work facilitates connection to our desires to be effective allies to both planet and people.

Sliding Scale Pricing: $50 - $225

What is sliding scale pricing and how does it work?

Sliding scale pricing provides a service or product with multiple price points. These price points are set to make the service or product accessible to people with different levels of income, so that financial resources need not be a barrier to a person’s ability to access a product or service. Community members can choose the price point that best reflects their ability to pay for a product or service, based on their individual circumstances.

Our wish is to make this workshop accessible to all who wish to participate and to support a modest livelihood for the facilitators, out of our love for planet earth and the bodies of work upon which this workshop is based.

Sliding scale practices grow strong and sustainable communities.
